San Clemente's Virtual Study Hub
It's super important to develop your note taking skills.
This is especially important when preparing for exams.
Rather than rushing to write study notes just before an exam, start making study notes right from the beginning of the unit of work.
Pay special attention to areas your teacher emphasises - these are vital and will probably be part of how you are assessed!
Notetaking tips..
-
Always use your own words
-
Use points or keywords, not sentences
-
Use headings to group main points
-
Use key words to trigger important ideas
-
Use abbreviations to save time , e.g. +ve positive, $ money, ppl people, = the same as, wk week, arg argument etc.

Note the use of abbreviations & how the info is summarised and condensed for study purposes. Even the title has been summarised!
